IDT conference identity
IDT Express

The Fold were commissioned by $1.6bn turnover US telecom giant IDT to create a conference identity for their IDT Express brand. The project was developed for their flagship event ITW Chicago, the world’s largest meeting of the wholesale community.

With the IDT Express theme of ‘freedom’ we developed a concept of birds in flight. Cutting through industry convention for maximum standout.

A striking flock of origami birds form the centrepiece of the conference stand, set against an optimistic sky blue background.

The floor space is subtly split into two areas; the first is the ‘greet and explore’ area allowing customers to experience the portal and learn more about the service. This area features oversized wooden bird perches housing tablets, which run through the benefits of the service.

The second is the ‘business conversion area’ which is a breakout space designed to put the customer at ease. This area has casual, low level seating and side tables with soft textures and materials to project a relaxed business environment.

The theme was applied to a number of touchpoints for the show; advertising, signage, gifts and sales presentation.
