The second generation of Inmarsat’s industry leading satellite phone included a number of key developments including enhanced durability and connectivity. As a long standing branding partner we developed a product brand to reflect this.
Designed to be no nonsense, IsatPhone 2 needed a brand identity to reflect this. Purposefully simple and direct, we developed a visual language that communicates the robust nature of a phone used in extreme and remote areas of the world.
Our involvement was from start to finish, helping to shape the proposition with client, developing a look and feel through to rollout and deliverables including promotional material, user guides, packaging and brand guidelines.
Launched worldwide in 2013, IsatPhone2 has been a strong seller for Inmarsat and continues to rival the hugely popular IsatPhone PRO. Due to the global nature of the product, localisation and translation was a key issue, we designed a brand identity that would be able to work effectively and practically in eight languages, we had active involvement in adapting numerous deliverables into the various languages.
