OpenPayd operates in a highly technical space where product benefits can easily get lost in jargon. The challenge was to translate that complexity into a sharper, more accessible narrative that could support the brand across content, sales, and marketing touchpoints.

When OpenPayd approached us, they wanted more than just an animation. They were looking to craft a compelling narrative—a clear, engaging explanation of embedded finance and what sets OpenPayd apart, while elevating their profile. Their ambition was to position themselves as the go-to provider for businesses looking to leverage these new technologies, and we wanted to showcase this in a way that was informative, inspiring, and unmistakably OpenPayd.

The Big Idea

We landed on the concept of a "universe of payments"—with OpenPayd at the centre of the universe. Drawing inspiration from orreries—mechanical models that illustrate the movement of planets and stars—we envisioned a dynamic, interconnected solar system. In this world, each client becomes its own planetary system, complete with orbiting customers and seamless financial flows.

We represented OpenPayd's position in the financial services "universe" as a radiant, pulsating sun, as a nod to both OpenPayd's central role in enabling payments, and as the energy and engine behind the whole system's movements. As the light spreads, we see client planets beginning to orbit and interact, representing the activation of financial ecosystems enabled by OpenPayd.
